Join us for a Sunday dinner celebration at Mercury Lounge, August 21, 2011 with Chef Dominic Ainza who is known for taking traditional Filipino cuisine and putting his own spin on it.
The theme for the night is COCONUTS!, and how Filipinos have come to embrace the fruit (or is it a nut?) and utilized it's milk for several of their dishes.
Chef Dominic’s cuisine doesn’t just represent the tradition. Just as his cultural background is a colorful quilt, his cuisine is intricately woven with the best of the Bay Area’s culinary cultures that should be enjoyed by people from all backgrounds. *
The chef will be preparing at least seven courses that are sure to excite all the senses. bulalo dumplings, tocino breakfast muffin, and Halo-Halo Panna Cotta were just some of the popular dishes from previous tasting menus at Mercury Lounge.
The chef will have a special guest, a foodcart vendor you all know and love will be helping chef Dom in the kitchen. With these two creative minds in the kitchen, you will be in for a treat!

$35 includes the dinner, tax, and gratuity (as well as good conversation, networking, smiles from that cutie across the table) - an additional fee will be charged by Eventbrite (sorry, we can't avoid this) upon completing your credit card transaction. Drinks will be paid separately at the restaurant.
YOU MAY PAY AT THE DOOR WITH CASH to avoid transaction fees on your credit card. If you do choose to pay at the restaurant, please notify us at eat@kapamealya.org with your name, phone number, and # of people in your party. We will not have change, so please bring the exact amount of $35 to the dinner.
Repeat "no-shows" may result in "no-invites" to future events.
